I bet you Scott Foster could tell you the line in that game.

I put chocolate chips on a pepperoni pizza and then dipped it in crab bisque.
I’m shocked that things that are good in isolation sometimes don’t work well together.
100% on board with him being better than Tatum. The Luka take is a spicy one.
I’m sticking by my prediction from the pre-season:
It’s over for Golden State. They’re old, small, totally reliant on Steph, and they have incredibly limited resources and flexibility to improve their roster due to the new CBA restrictions.
Maybe they find a way to squeak into the playoffs. But their days as a contender are over.
At least they’re paying their coach a bazillion dollars.
Wizards were pre-eliminated going into the tournament.
Nobody would dare express hatred of Rick Mahorn out of fear.
I’m sure he’ll apologize the next time, too.
Exactly.
At no point in his career was Lou one of the best 30 players in the league. Never made an All Star team and made the Conference Finals once in a 16 year career. Somehow that’s worthy of the Hall.
Not sure why, but having a sweet shammgod and hitting a pull-up J in someone’s face is all it takes for a lot of NBA players to consider a guy one of the best players in the league.
Really seems to be the classic “I’ve always played basketball because I’m in the top .0000001% for height. Now I’m in the NBA.”
I have no sources, but I can reliably report that Chicago has zero interest in bringing back DDR.
No, and we’ll look back on this year as the year it ended for this core.
I don’t know why everyone is expecting Klay to look like himself again - at his age and with his injury history, the decline he’s showing is exactly what should be expected.
Draymond also turns 34 this year. We should expect to see him slow down/deal with more injuries.
It’s also important to keep in mind that ageing isn’t some slow, linear regression. As they get older, players become more injury prone. It doesn’t go “the guy slowed down by 5% each year, started otherwise healthy, then retired.”
So even Curry should be expected to be injured at some point.
Nembhard… you gotta put that up.
He’s still living of the hype from when he was 15.
I’d be shocked if he stuck in the NBA more than 4 years. He showed nothing in college that suggested he might be an NBA talent. He averaged 19ppg on low efficiency for one of the 5 worst teams in the country. His shooting numbers weren’t anything to write home about. I actually watched some Eastern Mich last year. He looked like he was playing pickup with guys he’d never met before.
And that’s to say nothing of his athleticism. He’s probably among the 25 least athletic players in the entire league. At his draft combine, all of his metrics were near the bottom - usually around guys who weren’t going to be drafted. He was slower in the 3/4 court sprint than Zach Edey.
I think a lot of us underestimate just how amazing NBA players are. It’s incredibly difficult to have a long career in the league, or develop into a starter. I don’t think Bates has a realistic chance at either.
It’s because the refs are involved with gambling
I said it a million times last year and I’ll keep saying it until everyone catches on:
NBA officiating makes total sense if you assume the refs are involved with gambling.
“Assuming they are healthy”
hahahahahahaha
I’ll say it again: I think Chicago fans are going to be surprised at how little they get for their “stars” when the front office finally gets around to trading them.
Like “expiring contracts and a single first round pick” kind of return.
