The streak…is over.
Hell of a dagger by Harden, but holy shit the Clippers 4th quarter offense is still very suspect. Even the go-ahead shot seemed like more of an accident than anything else.

Somewhere in the middle. He has great hands, knows other teams’ plays, which lets him have positioning more often than not, and doesn’t get bullied by other offensive centers. Also, being just tall and wide is a natural deterrent, regardless of how good you are as a defender
However, rim protection/interior D still isn’t preferable for a center, definitely not switchable, questionable in space, weak to backdoor cuts. Just like a lot of centers, guarding the PnR can be a huge problem.
Overall, I’d say he’s average to slightly above average and against certain match ups just straight up a good defender.
Why is this the incident that is getting fans riled up when there has been much worse done to possibly better people?
He’s a 2nd year role player, like, supremely a role player. People just got dazzled by the few games he actually showed out.
I think he takes a necessary amount. His advantage is still inside, and that’s where he’s at most of the time. Also, his shot is slow and looks more blockable than most shooters that height.
If he continues it late in the season, and no one improves more than him, I don’t see why not. Dq-ing early career/high draft picks is lame.
All those teams are also stacked.
