Golden State, Phoenix, Denver have a worse record than what they really are - mostly because players have been out.

OKC, Orlando, and Dallas have a better record than what they’ll end up.

Memphis is obviously a question mark, and though Ja helps talent, I don’t know what he’ll do for chemistry - or if he’ll be a problem again. (Like really; what are the odds he’ll get it this time…)

It’s also different offenses - and a different pace.

Of course they are. This is like people commenting on the Suns and thinking Booker wouldn’t make the team better.

Obviously the Joker is the best player, but they lose outside scoring and playmaking with Murray. Hes a super important player to the team. You take the second best player off of most teams for an extended period - and teams don’t do well.

Book usually isn’t like that. Dude saw Scott Foster and Chris Paul on the other team, and logically decided it was a night to try and shoot free throws.

Starting to wonder if this is why our new players don’t play well at home. 😂

In 2019 you are told that Kawhi, PG13, Harden, and Westbrook will all be on the same team in the near future - what are your assumptions?

Booker saw Foster, saw CP3 on the other team…and made a decision to go after unethical baskets.

I’ve also noticed that commentators tend to question the calls that are in favor of one of the teams playing the others.

An obvious example is when a team is playing the Lakers. Like, any time a questionable call goes in favor of the other team - the commentators will usually say it’s a bad call. And they won’t even mention the refs calls for the Lakers. It’s like they are trying to give the impression that the refs are calling in favor of the other team…

(And it doesn’t just happen when a team is playing against the Lakers. It’s just whatever team the commentators are obviously rooting for…)

Clarkson was phenomenal too. I wasn’t even mad at Phoenix’s defense most of the time, he was just making difficult shots. I was impressed with the backcourt.

Booker and KD are going to prevent each other from getting it.

It’s amazing - anyone watching the game would have said that Booker was the motor and difference maker - his stats were excellent too…but Jesus that is ridiculous shooting from KD.

They really complement each other well.

Tbh, I think this is a good win for Phoenix. Book is back. They figured some things out in the fourth quarter. And they put 133 up against the league’s best defense.

But I also think it’s not a bad loss for Minnesota. Third game in four nights, back to back after Dray’s crap, and Phoenix will be far better than their record.

It’s painful to watch against the Suns, but Jokic’s game is so amazing to watch. Pure skill.

I knew I chose violence. Luka Stans make excuses for him constantly. Dude couldn’t even be in the top 10 of western teams last year with the best teammate he’s ever had.

And no one wants to admit that his defense and tantrums played a significant role in it. They like the heliocentric offense because he gets great stats, but the reality is that style doesn’t win titles. It didn’t even work for Lebron.

Omg what an amazing game! He must have improved in the playoffs last year…right? Right?

This was the feeling of a lot of Suns fans…who were sick of Ayton, but liked the potential of Toumani.

I think it’s unlikely that Toumani ends up a better player than Ayton, but he certainly could end up a less frustrating one…

Obviously he was the best player on OKC and the Nets.

You can make the argument for Golden State. I do think it says something that teams thought the best defensive action was to try and limit Curry as opposed to KD. I think ultimately they are just two different types of players. But I’d argue that Curry had the better career, and Curry changed the game more.

And at some point, Booker will be considered better than KD. It might even be this season, with Booker entering his prime and KD exiting it. But that’s coming.

The cool thing about KD though - is unlike a lot of superstars. I don’t think he cares.
