    Can confirm. Got more actual dates with people that are legitimately interested in me from psychiatric hospitals and group therapy than online dating apps.

    Okay so yes it’s green text but…

    I know people who work at inpatient acute facilities and they are constantly having to cockblock people to prevent truly horrible things from happening (think anorexia dating borderline or NPD + NPD)

    So while this particular story may not have happened, this general story happens daily.

    Are y’all coin flip relationships quality? I want enough time I do not think about that person in any type of addictive or reminiscent context. I want my relationships to be clean slate with a clear head. I do not care if that takes months or years.

      Have you heard of the saying “beggars can’t be choosers”? Anon writes that they had zero romantic success elsewhere. Theoretically there are more options than Tinder and a psych ward, but this is a 4chan user.

          Because to many people, being alone for their entire lives is already terrible. And it’s not like it’s a foregone conclusion that a relationship with a person you met in psych ward is terrible, it’s also possible that it’s good (or at least better than with a non-psych ward person) because they understand each other’s issues. Conversely, many people who never went to a psych ward also have mental health issues, which often go entirely untreated.
