Not surprising, I’d guess a wine bottle can hold about 200 whole grapes of the varieties that are grown for wine which iirc are smaller sized grapes.

I disagree. I’ve got a Sauvignon Blanc vine that makes the tastiest grapes I’ve ever had. Sure, they are small and full of seeds, but they are way above table grapes for flavour

I was very surprised when eating it. Like you, I’ve read articles about wine grapes and I was expecting it to be bad.

I’ve taken cuttings off this vine, so maybe at some point I can get enough to make wine. Maybe the wine will be incredibly poor flavour.

Pretty easy if you get a type appropriate to your climate. They take a bit of work in the sense of pruning and training. It isn’t difficult, but it needs to be done correctly to get the plant to fruit.

If you like gardening than it is fun.

Completely disagree. Wine grapes are good too. In small quantities though, eat too many of them and there’s a flavour that starts accumulating, which turns you off from eating too many.

Sure are. What are you talking about?

…supermarkets usually have the breeds with berries larger than a thumb (and imo too sweet), because they keep longer. Maybe you’re only used to them? But those are not typical grapes.

Grapes don’t keep well, wine does. Why do you think people started making wine and e.g. cider? Great way to preserve fruit juice.
