Well this experiment happened on earth in earth gravity, while the entirety of Saturn is like a sphere in outer space.
So we need to send the peas to the ISS and rerun the experiment.
On earth, witch happens to be a sphere in outer space…
Man, just when you think you’re safe, witch happens.
The difference in gravity does matter.
It’s the same gravity, just in a different position. Saturn’s gravity effects us all, but we show it no respect, hmmph.
The people who figured out the math of the hexagon also figured out you could do it with a bucket of water and a turntable.
Made for good demonstrations when reporting the results.
(They used more regulated and measured pieces for more rigorous tests. They just also had a bucket)Til Saturn is made of peas. Huh.
and love !
Oops! Wrong planet. I came here to make a stupid “Uranus” joke. /s
Saturn… Sat on uranus! i dunno, tried my best, sorry.
That’s Gold!
Jupiter made with blender? CONFIRMED: SPACE IS A HOAX!!1!
not necessarily, usually i print things after i created them with blender and even if jupiter was printed, it would then still be real. just its origin would be … interesting, i mean how many edges, faces and vertices? could we still see and count them with todays technologie? how was it printed - my printer doesnt even support printing liquids to astronimical bodies let alone gas. so many questions !!
I reckon they didn’t even bother 3d printing it. I think they just printed an image on paper and stuck it to the sky. When it goes below the horizon they scrape it off and put a new sticker up, with an image rendered from a slightly different angle, so it’s ready for the next night.
Peas are one of my least favorite foods, out of morbid curiosity, what are you going to do with that pea slurry?
Ever heard of the concept of soup?
Probably eat the creamy soup? Just a guess, not OP. Personally I enjoy my pea soup to be lumpy.
One man’s pea soup is another man’s slurry. /s
Blender on Jupiter confirmed?
Weird, I thought they were based in Amsterdam.
Oh! So its because the protective around around saturns blades is hexagonal, of course!
Or circular with 6 equidistant holes.
I mean to be fair there probably is the same kind of fluid dynamics effect going on here
So… Saturn’s thicker than a bowl o’ oatmeal?
👈👀👈
Oh, lawd. She comin’. Ain’t no retrograde here.
I like Enoch’s interpretation of Saturn.
What are you doing with those peas though?
A model of Saturn, obviously
I only.just realised it’s Jupiter not Saturn that has “the 'gon” and blew straight past the title…
its been a long week, though, so maybe that’s related
Every planet deserves a hexagon. Hexagons are bestagons!
Hoping for whirled peas, I suppose.
Split pea soup I’d assume. Pretty good when made right.
I’ll tell you if your making it… Split pea … You don’t need to blend them. You just cook. If you use a blender at all you need to turn off your stove and walk away. Your not ready yet to make a start and ignore soup. Let alone one your now involving a blender to make.
I don’t know who is down voting you, but yeah, you’re right, split pea soup doesn’t require blending. Maybe people use whole dried peas instead of split peas blend it?
Even then just cook them the long the softer and will turn to paste on its own its like potatos. I never have to cook them longer then 2 hours anyway or you already are past mushy peas.
Whirled Peas is not enough, we demand an inter solar solution.
And from this we must assume that Saturn is surrounded, indeed bound, by a massive metallic cylinder.
The bottom of Saturn has a
dodecahedrondecagon!I think there is one less dimension and two less points on the actual shape.
🙈 you right, decagon
The bottom of Saturn has duodenitis
