President Donald Trump spoke before an adoring crowd in Tennessee Saturday, telling his fans, “I could say the stupidest things and you’d clap.”

Democracy is not a nice to have, but a check and a balance on power. The problem is the two party system, that and the fact that money has become a bridge between the separation of powers.

The democrats don’t give a damn about democracy either. They inserted Biden into the election without a proper primary (while the republicans were at least doing a show of it), but then realised that he’s too old and inserted Kamela as the new candidate with no primary, which shows how they disregard the will of the electorate.

This caused voter disenfranchisement, leading to low voter turnout and handing the election over to Trump. They’ll probably do it again, over their stance on Palestine - believe it or not - and it’s kind of stupid.

Either they’re not actually listening to the words or they are listening and it doesn’t matter to them.

I can’t decide which is worse.

I think it’s his tone of voice that matters most to his audience, the words go by too quickly for them to process, much like when you speak to a dog.

I have literally said some of the meanest things (I’m willing to say) my dog using a nice voice. She just wags her tail and comes in for snuggles.

I mean, he already does. They’re idiots, they’ll clap for anything said by anyone as long as they know someone they irrationally hate will suffer.

They booed him once. It was during COVID, he had spent the last 6 months calling it fake, but at some point for a brief moment he realized it was serious. He told everyone at his rally they needed to get the vaccine. The crowd turned on him quick.

Sometimes I think he hates his supporters more than progressives, leftists, unionists, and bipoc people.

I don’t know if that’s certifiable, but my gosh does he DESPISE his own people.

He does. They’re not rich, they can’t do anything for him other than vote. Trump doesn’t involve himself with anyone who can’t give him something.

If they were outside his place asking for anything he’d be the first to call security to get the “undesirables” out.

Because those unwashed masses cling to him, want to be near him. He can’t stand them because he thinks he’s the smartest person in the room and everyone around him is stupid. He’s classist AF.

Just like the time he said “I don’t care about you, I only care about your vote.”

They are hopeless. Beyond fucking stupid. And what’s funny is Dump knows it. He knows no intelligent person likes him— and that pisses him off because he really wants their respect.

    Ha ha loser.

Think of how stupid the average conservative is, then remember: half of them are stupider than that.

I can see there being a large number of seemingly intelligent people with enough self-awareness to know that Trump gives no shits about them, but they are still totally fine with him because they are a bad person in some other way. I could see it being because they are both “alphas” and “game respect game,” and/or because (they think) he will produce some result they want.

Conservatives can be very “ends justify the means” which is why fascism is such a natural evolution. Hell even forgetting what I said about alpha douches… There are tired old ladies all over this country who would agree that Trump world not piss on them if they were on fire, but it is still an overwhelmingly good thing that he is president because Roe got overturned. I was born into a white catholic family, so I’m pretty sure I’m related to some.
