Man put up 19 2 4 in 19 mins and you’re saying he didn’t step up? He is coming off an injury and Milwaukee is easing him into full playtime.
I see star potential in Franz for sure. I think he’ll wind up around a Middleton level of player, which is really damn good.
But the way I see some people on here talk about him, it’s as though they think he’s at that level right now and on a trajectory to fly past it. That’s too much imo.
Figured some Magic fan would chime in to say this. You’ll have to do better, I don’t have any regrets about that trade.
People are pretty high on Maxey I feel
I think Franz is a stud but people on here are a little crazy about him imo. I don’t really see that ability/potential to takeover games consistently that you need out of your #1. I think Paolo is firmly that team’s centerpiece moving forwards.
Low on, I’ll say Scottie Barnes. He plays out of control more often than I’d like but I think the kid is super talented and I’m excited to see the role he takes on without FVV.
They’ll be a much improved team off the KPJ -> FGV move alone.
But the west is good and deep. Idk how much their seeding moves even if they add 8-10 wins.
He’s a very god player. I wouldn’t call it one of the worst but I do think it is gonna be tough for Memphis to keep building when he’s making that type of money. It’s not a contract I’d want my team paying.
He and Ja are combining for $70m next year. Add JJJ and Smart and that’s over $110m. Is that a championship-level core? I don’t think so personally. As it stands they’ll be over the 2nd luxury tax threshold next year and I don’t think their roster is ready for that. They’ll have to make a lot of moves to cut costs.
I don’t understand the point of this post, his injury history is well known and it’s why his contract is a short term deal.
In general I think the US needs to normalize staying the fuck at home when you have highly contagious and nasty illnesses like the flu, so sure
The two pillars of wisdom, Kyrie and Gilbert Arenas
Tyus Jones. Dude doesn’t play enough minutes to rack up gaudy numbers but he is one of the most elite passers in basketball. Extremely smart with the ball in his hands.
Even if they’re not playing with a dribble count, I’m not sure if Matisse Thybulle could get past 3 dribbles
Those two defensive plays were absolutely ridiculous.
And what’s crazier is that neither of them looked tough for him to replicate.
I would say worse bc he is an abusable defender, and as it stands Denver doesn’t really have someone on that end who is a clear target for defenses.
Also bc Murray is much better at diving to the rim and finishing, and Denver’s offense utilizes a lot of off-ball cutting.
Not nearly as good at diving to the basket, and Jokic finding cutters is a big part of Denver’s gameplan
Even when it was allowed, HS to NBA was still exceedingly rare.
I would just take the best values I see available and then determine a firm direction at the deadline.
Defense and rebounding. I think Booker is slightly better on offense though.
