I think I like West more overall, but it’d be a fun game to watch.
By your own LeBron logic though, Lauri should be excluded since he plays a decent amount of minutes at SF, actually starts there when everyones healthy.

What the Bulls will want and what the Bulls will get are not the same. Of course they’d like multiple 1sts and young players for each guy they move, it’s just not happening. All the players have something holding them back from getting a huge haul, age, contract, play. And none of those things are likely to change, so why improve the offer?
Hendricks was hurt most of the offseason and looked really raw in the preseason. The Jazz like their rookies to earn their minutes and are deep in the frontcourt, so Hendricks is in the g league to develop and maximise his reps. When he’s ready we’ll likely see a Collins/Olynyk trade and he’ll move up. Jazz did the same with Ochai last year, and even for George and Kessler that started in the rotation, they had very limited minutes until they earned larger roles.
Honestly think it’s less about his own play and more about his direct competition. He needs to be MVP caliber himself, as he has been the last couple of years, but also needs no one else to be very close, or they’ll get it over him.
For sure, it that’s an effort/technique issue, not a size one. Mitchell isn’t actually that small for a 2 defensively, he’s long and strong for his height. He’s just a bad defensive player.
So great players make the playoffs 100% of the time? That’s the claim?
Nah, won’t really help. Might even make middling/poor teams start to tank earlier. They can get eliminated quickly and then be better than the tanking teams when it comes to winning quarters.
Good scorer who could show out on a bad team. But long term future is more of a 6th man type with his energy and scoring, just doesn’t defend or facilitate enough to be a starter.
