With Gen. AI imagery, I’ve noticed it’s the concept that’s considered funny, barely ever the actual generated output, besides the shock value of being in a different format.
If stupid people find stupid matter funny, do stupid people find themselves funny?

For generative AI… Yeah. I see no appeal. I do see an appeal for it as a chatbox if you’re careful to not think it’s real and shit.
I also see the appeal of it as a way to get really really really obscure pieces of knowledge that you cannot find with a simple google search. (I was damn stoned on a subreddit a while back for even mentioning I tried to get help from an AI. Which pisses me off, I’m not God, I can’t find everything.)
It’s good that dangerously insane people finally feel free to present as their authentic selves.
