    I’m Canadian and we lost to both US teams. Nobody in my nation is mocking either of the US teams. Honestly the women’s goal tending was nuts. I’d like to see trump last 5 minutes on the ice with one of those ladies dancing the puck around him.

    Between this and trump’s recent voting comments, women in the US should be very concerned.

        Hell, a majority of white women voters.

        Probably partly because of the Dem leadership’s obsession with fruitless pandering to wine moms, people keep forgetting about the Karens.

          Most notable was Trump’s performance among white women. The Harris campaign actively targeted the group in the hope that protecting abortion rights would garner their support.

          Yet such support failed to materialize, with Trump winning among white women 53% to 46% over Harris, with that group making up the largest overall voting bloc at 40%, according to AP VoteCast.

          It really sucks. Even though it is a small majority, it is disgusting to think that 53 of of 100 white women would prefer Trump to Harris.

          For comparison:

          White and Suburban Men

          The Pew Research Center found that Trump in 2016 had a 30-point advantage over Clinton among white men. While Trump still had a sizable advantage in that demographic in 2020, Biden did make some gains and shrunk the margin to 17 points.

          So far, Harris appears to have lost some of that ground in 2024, according to the AP. White men who supported Trump made up 59% of those surveyed as of Wednesday afternoon, compared to 39% for Harris – a margin that was smaller than Clinton’s eight years ago but still larger than Biden’s in 2020.

          I don’t understand these numbers. 59 + 39 != 100. Did 2% vote for a 3rd party?

            Yes. I know a few conservative voters in my home state who hate Trump but refused to vote for either Clinton or Harris.

          Yeah, I mostly said that because the fantasies everybody online is having about Trump leaving office before his term is up has that one major flaw that would affect anybody hoping for it. They should probably be hoping for Trump’s continued health. Though I have zero idea what JD would actually do if he was in office. He would definitely not be as chaotic, for good or ill.

            Mark my words. If pedo Trump lives to the start of his 3rd year of this term, he’s going to be hit with the 25th Amendment. Thiel wants Vance in office for 10 years to completely destroy the USA and can’t get that if Trump leaves office too early.

    Don’t ignore the fact Trump is insane, petty, vicious and the POTUS. I doubt anyone there wants to become the individual focus of Trump’s ire, especially after the women’s rejection put him in a foul mood. If anyone has had to dance around a violent parent’s feelings, I’m sure you can understand.

      If the women can take it the men should too. Anyone deciding to go along to get along at this point is pro-Trump regardless of what they say. Trump is not their parent and these are adult who chose to be put in this position. If they want to “represent their country” and they won’t push back when their country is fascist then they are representing fascism.

      “We’ll do the White House,” Trump told players. “We’ll just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to — I must tell you — we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that,” the president said, chuckling. The players laughed. “I do believe I probably would be impeached [if I didn’t],” Trump continued.
